A whopping 1,134,427 voter registrations have been cancelled in Indiana, primarily in black and liberal districts.

One quarter-million of them come from just two northwestern Indiana counties: Lake and Porter. Lake County reports purging 137,164 voters and neighboring Porter County cancelled out 124,958 voters.

Lake County, the home of Gary, Indiana, has been referred to as "the second most liberal county in America." Lake County has one of the heaviest concentrations of African-American voters that you'll find anywhere in the USA.

This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Is it just by sheer coincidence that Obama support-rich counties in PA had broken voting machines - barring many from casting their vote?

Now this?

I'm not blaming Clinton exclusively, but I don't think it is far-fetched to think that Clinton or McCain supporters are up to all this hoopla.

For example, Hillary mentioning Obama supporters closing the doors at a caucus really early to keep the members inside Obama-majority. I don't think that's far-fetched by any means and totally plausible.

How about some provisional ballots lacking Obama's name in Pennsylvania?

I did see one thing happen that hurt the Clinton campaign but I can't remember what it was. If I come back across it, I'll put it here.

Yeah, we should have an independent agency that checks the validity of election results. When I say INDEPENDENT, I mean with no ties to US government whatsoever, be it a UN inspection or something like that.

In light of this article and the fact that it is almost 11 pm on Tues and the count in IN is Clinton 555,261 an Obama 514,909 (at 85% counted), who are we to say is actually the winner?

Something hinky is going on in Lake, Porter and LaPorte counties. Lake Co. is apparently holding their results until they're 100% counted, which none of the other counties did. Since Lake announced that, I've noticed that both Porter and LaPorte counties have stopped reporting (each around 70-75%). Monroe Co. also has about 40% of their vote outstanding, and have been that way for a while. Not sure what's going on, but it's a little unusual.

Hendricks County is also bugging me. It's 100% reported, with much lower turnout than other areas. It's a young, affluent Indianapolis suburb. Sounds heavily Obama right? Nope. Clinton by four points.

You planed for your retirement. Now you can give up the lame Standup comedy gig, sit in the corner and let the drool trickle down your chin as you make tin hats for your misanthropic, neo-con friends all day. Good times.

I don't understand the thrust of this thread.

This has nothing to do with the recent SCOTUS decision, it has to do with purging of voter roles.

In fact, on one of these threads, the seeder stated that the way to deal with fraud was not the current voter id law, but by appropriately purging the voter rolls?

Make up your mind folks. If the voter rolls are bad, they are bad and need to be purged.

I'd put a dollar on another false flag operation by the neo cons before november so they can instigate martial law and bush will enact the dictatorship powers he has on standby at the moment.

They probably know that the crats have a chance of taking the white house and undo all the hard work the bush administration has put into place. You think they will let that go easily?

I tend to take this type of fantastic headline with an agenda with a grain of salt. Here is why:

According to the US Census Bureau, Indiana's population (2006) was 6,313,520 of which 8.9% are black.

8.9% of 6.3 Million is 564,723 people not all of which are voting age. The data also says that 25% of the population is under 18, if blacks are close to that, it would mean there were 423,430 blacks of voting age. Now I also know the headline covers itself by saying liberal districts, but obviously the whole thing is an absurd attempt to do what it has done, get some people up in arms.

Consider further, there would only be 4,735,140 people of voting age totally in Indiana. According to CNN 1,247,993 votes were cast in the Democratic Primary. This article would want you to conclude that almost as many people as actually voted were kept out of the process.

Come on folks, you are being manipulated.

I fail to see how the numbers you cite amount to "manipulation," EPH. As I've said repeatedly in this and another thread, these "canceled" records can sometimes refer to records that were simply replaced by new information, but to say that 115% of the current voters in Porter County--a young, affluent county that paradoxically went fairly strongly to Clinton--changed information or moved away or died is just boffery, regardless of what numbers amount to that 115%.
